Khartoum Place

Brewer Davidson won a design competition organized by Auckland City Council. The winning entry was redesigned with Council’s decision to retain the Suffragette Memorial, but the key components of the design remained intact. The design opens up the space by removing a lot of  clutter while increasing the public amenity with new seating. The lower Lorne Street level was completed in 2007. A new staircase was added in the upper level to improve visibility to the Art Gallery and the upper level was completed in 2014.
